klipper unity popup bug

klipper doesn't display it's clipboard history menu (left click) or popup preferences menu (right click) when running in the unity system tray.
It looks as though the top part of the menu dialog appears, but the important bit doesn't render - see attached screenshot

As per downstream https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/kdebase-workspace/+bug/771642

Would be nice if this worked on Unity. It's the best clipboard app.

Klipper doesn't use the DBus menu to pass the menu, instead the context menu gets invoked directly. KDE's implementation of the status notifier API takes care of that. It looks like Unity's implementation doesn't take care of it. This needs to be fixed by the Unity team.
