*** Bug 310537 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** The former ideas needed online recources are available. KDE-SC Digikam makes use of the technology for it's geolocalization function. I would prefer to have an Interface, displaying a map to choose the geodata for a contact. Actually it makes use of the googlemaps api and one can choose map or satellite view. The second wish is available in Digikam, too. You have an Interface where you can mark a square on a map and digikam is showing all photografies with geolocation data of this area. Same thing in kaddressbook could filter the contact list displaying all contacts in the choosen area. Well, this is a wishlist. :-) Thank you for the bug report. As this report hasn't seen any changes in 5 years or more, we ask if you can please confirm that the issue still persists. If this bug is no longer persisting or relevant please change the status to resolved. Would still be nice to have. |
