Italic text is used for the second line of each krunner hit.  It's not a good look in a UI.  Hard to explain why, but do you see it anywhere else?  We dropped the underlined desktop icon names after KDE 2 as well.

The recommended place for sharing & reviewing patch is reviewboard.kde.org, especially for big projects like plasma which receive too many bug reports.

Fixed with Plasma 5.

With Plasma 5, the UI has been completely rewritten in QML. It no longer uses italics.
