If it is feasible technically, it would be great if one could configure the places in Dolphin to show up or be hidden in specified activities, this would e.g. prevent cluttered lists of mixed up folders for different activities like "private", "work" etc. (especially after the addition of various Nepomuk filters in 4.9).
For me on my 13" screen it would already be of great use saving space, too.
