Sentry Crash Report:

Description Ken 2012-09-19 13:02:29 UTC
When trying to install new splash theme by clicking on the install button I get a error popup that the downloaded file is an html file with a choice of going to the website (example):
http://www.2shared.com/file/YRkY3lA9/Sylvankde4splztar.html
Why the redirect which complicates things?

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.open splash themes manager
2.Select "get new themes"
3.select any theme
Actual Results:
No new theme is installable

Expected Results:
New theme to be downloaded AND installed

The author of the theme decided not to use the standard kde-look.org upload, but to distribute it from a different web site or file hoster. The GHNS system cannot possibly know how to download from any web site, so you have to manually download it from the link you are redirected to. See also bug 256472.
