- What I was doing when the application crashed:

I was surfing in the internet while listening to my music. Suddenly the music stopped. Ich clicked on the amarok symbol in the tray. The window disapeared and the bug report window opened.

The crash can be reproduced some of the time.

Please upgrade to Amarok 2.6.0 and the phonon-backend-gstreamer 4.6.2, this is already fixed. You will need the kubuntu backports PPA, see also http://kubuntu.org/news
