- What I was doing when the application crashed:
finished one video of a series ... it loaded the next in the series and it was playing fine until program suddenly quit and I was told it crashed. I have watched maybe 10 videos or so ... about an hour´s worth before it died. That being said, videos were playing fine the night before for at least 4 hours with no issues. 
My laptop is a ASUS M50S series and it runs really hot despite havin USB cooling fans. My location being Singapore probably doesn´t help. Overheating may be an issue?

rekonq (0.9.1) on KDE Platform 4.8.4 (4.8.4) using Qt 4.8.1

watching this url on youtube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lP0D5u3EMfA
this is a 5 hours video, i suspect a buffer overrun problem..
it crashes around min 10-15 on play when background loading thread is about 60-80%

Unfortunately, the backtrace doesn't contain much helpful information due to uncaught exception (not your fault). 

If you can reproduce the crash every time,  please follow the guide[1] and try to run it under gdb to get a better backtrace.

You can close this bug report out as the laptop in question died years ago hence no way to provide you with the information you require. Sorry about that.
