- What I was doing when the application crashed:

This is after a fresh install of Fedora 16 onto hard drive. The usual update patches. Install my design tools and KDE games.

- bluefish editor
- gimp
- inkscape
- scribus
- kde games
- kde 3 games not ported to 4

Reboot system.

- I forget what exactly happened, but a bug came up and i wanted to squash it.
- Prompted to download 3.5 Gbytes of debugger software tools.
- Enter passphrase.
- 3.5 Gbytes of debugger software tools installs from previous prompt after a pryor crash.
- Everything looking good so far.   ..X (^_^) X..
- I don't recall if I filed or the 3.5 Gbytes of software filed that last crash report.

Open Konqueror. Slow as usual so I want to install Firefox. 

1. open apper
2. apper ui refreshes
3. double click apper>>category>>applications
4. apper crashes.
5. save bug report and...

apper (0.7.2) on KDE Platform 4.9.1 using Qt 4.8.2

- What I was doing when the application crashed:

This is a recent install of Fedora 17. I launched Apper right after boot, and I clicked Updates icon, while the application categories were still loading.
