Did you remove the file while it was still being loaded? Most probably. Hmm, why would you remove a file that's still being used by another program? This crash looks similar to bug 193908, which happens when one closes Ark while it is still loading an archive -- are you sure that's not what happened? I wish I could. Alright, if you manage to have more information about this crash (or reproduce it), please reopen the report. I managed to reproduce it. Big *.gz file, opening order to Ark, then deleted from konsole. Ark behavior was not to crash but to reserve a big quantity of memory. I finally sent it SIGTERM when it seemed it wouldnt stop reserving memory pages... and did not crash, and if it had, it would be a 'closing Ark' crash. Then looks similar to the crash you mentioned. Thank you. Hmm, it looks like a mix of bug 302834 and bug 193908 :-) I'm closing it as a duplicate of the latter due to the crash.
