I am finding KJots a TRULY great note-taking application even despite some shortcomings (which I plan to address in wishlists, of which this is the first one). I am putting this suggestion as a first one because I think the implementation should not be that difficult and the usefulness of this could be invaluable. So, first things first, thanks!! for a great that delivers real value and usefulness.

I would like to have available a keyboard shortcut to change lettercases, something similar to the Ctrl-U / Alt-Ctrl-U / etc. shortcut of the KDE text editors, or Shift-F3 of MS Office/LibreOffice. Sometimes I see that I need to change lettercases and since I use KJots to take class notes, you might understand that changing letter cases manually takes a great deal of time and this is a great hindrance in note-taking.

Thanks again, and I hope this gets implemented soon. :)

KJots has been retired for almost a year, all bugs for it are being closed.

Quoting the public announcement

We have decided to retire the KJots and KNotes applications. These applications have not seen any support or development in many years and are not in a state that we feel comfortable shipping to our users. With the introduction of Marknote, KDE can now offer a modern, well-maintained note-taking application that we can recommend users to migrate to. The latest release of Marknote has gained support for importing notes from KJots and KNotes, so no notes will be lost.
