Description Kai Uwe Broulik 2012-08-15 23:05:49 UTC
With KDE 4.9.0 a new look of the progress bar was introuced into plasma (instead of separated squares, a continuous bar is now used). Since then Plasma Network Management’s bar that appears when connecting looks weird. It appears but is always empty.

Using Version 0.9.1_rc1(master 20120812) on KDE 4.9.0

Reproducible: Always

Yep, clearly a visual regression. In general, the new progress bar looks a lot less refined than the previous one. This bug shows that it even breaks visual consistency.

Bug is reproducable here.

This is a bug in plasma theme, no? Should I reassign it to plasma?

After the ugrade I recognised the same issue at the first start of KDE.

Does anyone of you know how to change back the configuration? I found the variable KCapacityBar::continuous for any progress bar, but I don't know is there a global variable which sets this?

Thanks for the report Kai Uwe Broulik.
