Description Philipp Schmidt 2012-08-06 08:44:33 UTC
Recurring events with exceptions formatted as DATE-TIME values show up only in calendar views but not in the event editor.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Create event in KOrganizer in shared calendar
2. Add exception to event in other client that uses EXDATE for that but formats it as DATE-TIME (e.g. Thunderbird)
3. Reload calendar in KOrganizer. Exception is shown in normal views
4. Open event in editor and navigate to recurrences
Actual Results:
Exception is not shown in recurrence exception list

Expected Results:
Exception should be shown

KOrganizer only recognizes EXDATE formatted with VALUE=DATE in recurrence exception list.

This bug has only been reported for versions before 4.14, which have been unsupported for at least two years now. Can anyone tell if this bug still present?

If noone confirms this bug for a Framework-based version of korganizer (version 5.0 or later, as part of KDE Applications 15.08 or later), it gets closed in about three months.

Just as announced in my last comment, I close this bug. If you encounter it again in a recent version (at least 5.0 aka 15.08), please open a new one unless it already exists. Thank you for all your input.
