A small update if I may - KDE's mysqld's RAM consumption has now increased to 3.9% of my 8 GB of RAM. And I'm not aware of anything I'm doing which requires it. Can anyone look into this bug already? Regards, -- Shlomi Fish OK, I tried going to the "Personal Information" applet in the systemsettings, and to remove everything I don't need (and apparently the "Local Folders" option is created again without asking me). mysqld as my "shlomif" user still consumes 3.9% of RAM. Very annoying. It seems to be brought up when I start KOrganizer, which I need. Are you measuring virtual or resident memory? Check "Virtual Size" vs. "Memory" column in Ctrl+Esc monitor. Hi, (In reply to comment #3) > Are you measuring virtual or resident memory? Check "Virtual Size" vs. > "Memory" column in Ctrl+Esc monitor. I am getting a "Virtual Size" of 572.1 MB and a "Memory" of 298.3 MB. Regards, -- Shlomi Fish This bug has only been reported for versions older than KDEPIM 4.14 (at most akonadi-1.3). Can anyone tell if this bug still present? If noone confirms this bug for a recent version of akonadi (part of KDE Applications 15.08 or later), it gets closed in about three months. Seems to be better on Mageia v6. Resolving. |
