you have email from foo.@.foo.org ?? %NAME doesn't exist as macro. @Laurent Montel No, I don't have mail. I am reading USENET. If you haven't look, this is KNODE. Knode is not an Email reader, is a USENET news reader. And yes, there are users that set their email address to <.@.> to prevent spam. Don't ask me why THEY do that, I am just reporting the problem I have. Yes, %NAME is available in PREFERENCES --> SEND NEWS --> EDITOR. Of course, using KNODE. Ah ok sorry I received all kdepim bug => kmail/knode etc. I thought that it was for kmail (as kmail as macro). Ok I will look at. Hello! Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but this project has been unmaintained for many years so I am closing this bug. |
When replying to a post, the first line, which is set to place: %NAME wrote: at the top of the post fails in the case that the From: header is (for example): user45 <.@.> And places only: wrote: The correct result should be: user45 wrote: Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Receive a post in which the sender decided to put "myname <.@.>" as the sender 2. Open a reply to such message. 3. Done. Actual Results: The first post line is just " wrote:". Expected Results: The first post line should read "myname wrote:".
