It appears that when you close a conversation in the quick chat applet, it shows the contact as offline in the buddy list. The state returns to normal when you open up a chat with that buddy in the buddy list.



Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1) Have someone message you
2) Talk to them from the quick chat applet
3) Close the applet with the upper right x

Actual Results:  
4) Contact now appears offline in your buddy list

Expected Results:  
Contact should remain online/away/what-have-you.

I don't see how this can be happening. Can you definitely reproduce it?

Just attempted to reproduce and I couldn't. I'll open the report if I succeed again. Thanks for your help -- Telepathy rocks!
