Hello,
I usualy use kcharselect for inserting french quotes and some similar characters when creating web pages. I do not use these chars too often, so kchar select is good tool for that. But I do not want to search these chars again and again.

It would be nice to add a star (bookmark) to character detail, like star in Firefox location bar or in Gmail.  And then show these stared characters in their own tab or group.

Implementation should be simple, since only needed data structure is list of characters and all widgets already exists.

Bug 242333 looks very similar, but Stefan asks for bookmarking of entire character set. Anyway, I believe it can be solved both at once, so there is no need for this bug anymore.
