Icons in my case

Description apache 2012-07-19 10:33:00 UTC
Please, make icon size on default task list bigger, so that it can be as big as the size of a task list. I mean as big as task list's height. Now the icon on task list is very small compering to the size of the shortcut/launching icon on panel. I know that task list height is not as big as panel size but anyway I hope it can be made biggger.

Reproducible: Always

I found that in smooth-tasks-fork there is an option to make icon's size bigger. Perhaps you could do the same.
https://bitbucket.org/flupp/smooth-tasks-fork

Would it be possible to get rid of this frame of task list at all, I mean at the top and at the bottom there are a few pixels between the edge of the task list and the edge of the panel which makes
Smooth Tasks narrow, thinner. I wish icons could have the same size as panel itself. Is it possible?

Maybe the size of smooth task depends on plasma theme I use. I don't know. But I don't know about any plasma theme that doesn't make task list narrower than panel. But haven't checked all plasma themes yet.

Sorry I made mistake. I should have written:
"... I mean at the top and at the bottom there are a few pixels between the edge of the task list and the edge of the panel which makes task list narrow, thinner."

I second this wish, everything that can be made bigger is helpful. Bigger items are better to identify.

I also experience this problem with KDE 4.13.1 from Debian unstable...
Buttons for launched apps look good, but if I check "Show A Launcher When Not Running", the launcher buttons are very small and don't change when resizing the panel...

Also seems the same problem is reported in Bug 329339.

Maybe you'll confirm the bug now [if you can]? :)

Do you mind voting for it?

The size discrepancy between launcher icons and window button icons has been resolved in Plasma 5.

Hello!

This feature request was filed for KDE Plasma 4, which reached end-of-support status in August 2015. KDE Plasma 5's desktop shell has been almost completely rewritten for better performance and usability, so it is likely that this feature request is already implemented in Plasma 5, or is no longer applicable.

Accordingly, we hope you understand why we must close this feature request. If the requested feature is still desired but not implemented in KDE Plasma 5.12 or later, please feel free to open a new ticket in the "plasmashell" product after reading https://community.kde.org/Get_Involved/Bug_Reporting

If you would like to get involved in KDE's bug triaging effort so that future mass bug closes like this are less likely, please read https://community.kde.org/Get_Involved#Bug_Triaging

Thanks for your understanding!

Nate Graham
