Description Carlos sanchiavedraz 2012-07-16 11:48:12 UTC
From time to time appear file notifications (they have dolphin icon) that don't have any information about the action they are notifying (no copy/move, no from: to:, blank completely). And they don't end (the info icon on the panel still displaying a number and continue to move in circles) so you have to clic on every of their stop icon to erase.

Reproducible: Couldn't Reproduce

Steps to Reproduce:
1. It happens from time to time, but no cause found
Actual Results:
"Empty" file notifications with no action, no information, that never end.

Expected Results:
None of these if you're not doing any file action.

See #303601 in case these notifications are related (a "visible face") to any background job that has to do with networking that never happens and therefore leaves these empty jobs notifications running

does this still happen in 4.10?

Since the Notification widget was replaced with a newer QML-based one, the previous versions are now considered unmaintained. There will be no more code contribution to the older versions.

Please only report bugs and wishes to the new version, available since KDE 4.10
