It's not a duplicate KSNI. What happens is our approver runs, and when a message is received shows an item in the tray. KSNI also acts as a telepathy approver and shows an item in the tray, thanks to the shared telepathy plugin that's written for empathy. Both items are working fine.. and that's the problem. Relevant thread: http://www.mail-archive.com/kde-telepathy@kde.org/msg04864.html *** Bug 291466 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** KSNI does not capture Tp messages so we're not solving this. To some extent, if upstream have a program that conflicts with us, that's their problem anyway. [01:16] <shadeslayer> it seems 'fixed' for now [01:16] <shadeslayer> since MI doesn't capture those messages at all [01:17] <shadeslayer> and only ktp's handler captures it [01:17] <shadeslayer> don't get 2 of those boxes in raring [01:17] <shadeslayer> so huzzah If there's a legitimate change + plan to make the two behave together, please reopen. Till then there's nothing we can or will do. |
