Sentry Crash Report:

Description Janet 2012-07-12 18:50:48 UTC
On unlocking the toolbar I can choose to disable the toolsbars (main toolbar and some unnamed one). When the unnamed toolbar is deactivated the bookmarks toolbar vanishes. But after a restart of rekonq the bookmarks toolbar always is visible again.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Unlock the toolbars and deselect the unnamed toolbar. Bookmarks toolbar vanishes.
2. Close rekonq and restart it.
3. Bookmarks toolbar is visible.

Expected Results:
Rekonq should remember the state of the toolbars.

This happens when rekonq cannot find the "installed" rekonqui.rc or cannot determinate the right path to save local changes. This is yet the symptom of a fake install
Comment 2 Janet 2012-07-14 14:37:49 UTC
Please specify "fake install". Rekonq is installed in /usr/local/bin via checkinstall.

Is it a duplicate of bug 258224 ??
Comment 4 Janet 2012-10-07 13:36:09 UTC
Yes, seems to be a duplicate.

And for the protocoll: not, it is not a "fake install". It also happens when rekonq is installed from debian/experimental. The problem seems to have been an improvement in a new rekonq version which was not mirrored in the old rekonqui.rc.
