Description Eric Mesa 2012-07-11 12:24:00 UTC
This morning I was looking for music files I had added to my computer in the last week so I could burn them to an audio CD. I used the nepomuk search in Dolphin. This produced a list of the files and their location on the desktop. I was unable to drag these files into k3b. It said non-local files were not allowed. (All the files were local) So I think k3b should be able to translate the files from the nepomuk search into their location on the disk so that queries like this could be useful for burning CDs.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. search for songs in Dolphin with nepomuk
2.Drag songs over to k3b file window
3.
Actual Results:
k3b complains about files not being local

Expected Results:
To be able to drag the files into k3b. I can do that from Dolphin. Heck, I can even do it from Amarok (and do that quite often!)! So I should be able to do it from nepomuk search results.

Hi there, this bug has been identified to be related to nepomuk, the semantic searching system in prior versions of KDE. Please note that nepomuk has been replaced by Baloo. I'm going to close this bug due to the use of the new Baloo system. Please do file a new bug for frameworks-baloo if you happen to continue having issues with search.
