Description Pal Körössy 2012-07-08 14:39:10 UTC
For me the autoscroll function in Konqueror doesn't work anymore.
Pressing shift+down or shift+up has the same affect like pressing down or up without shift.
It was working for me in the earlier versions of KDE (4.8.3; 4.8.2; 4.7.x etc.)

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Open a webpage in Konqueror
2.Press shift+up
3.
Actual Results:
Autoscroll doesn't work

Expected Results:
Autoscroll should start

Access keys (ctrl) doesn't work either...
Comment 2 Burkhard Lück 2012-07-09 03:47:16 UTC
Compiled from sources:
$ konqueror --version
Qt: 4.8.0
KDE: 4.8.4 (4.8.4)
Konqueror: 4.8.4 (4.8.4)

Autoscroll + Ctrl work here, Autoscroll works only using KHTML, not with WebKit

Which engine ? "WebKit" or "KHTML" ?
Comment 4 Dawit Alemayehu 2012-08-20 05:45:17 UTC
For the record. The autoscroll functionality is only implemented in the master branch of the webkit engine (kwebkitpart). That is it has not yet been released.
Comment 5 Dawit Alemayehu 2012-09-08 03:47:14 UTC
I assume this bug was about the "webkit browser engine" and as such this issue has now been fixed in the newly released kwebkitpart v1.3.0 [1].

Feel free to reopen this ticket if the issue was not about the webkit engine or you can reproduce the problem in kwebkitpart v1.3.0.
