Description Friedrich W. H. Kossebau 2012-07-03 14:18:57 UTC
When KGlobal::newComponentData(...) sets the new mainComponent, this will not have any effect on the global iconloader. That one will always use the component which was the main/global one when the singleton was triggered to exist.
Comment 1 Christoph Feck 2012-07-03 15:38:21 UTC
Call KIconLoader::reconfigure() when the component data changes. Since scanning the icon theme directories is a costly operation, the icon loader has to cache them.
Comment 2 Christoph Cullmann 2024-05-04 21:09:49 UTC
Is that still an issue for the current KF6 implementation?
