Cannot reproduce. When I log in it tells me I am logged in. See the attached screen shot. The only bug I noticed is that I am not presented with the save password bar so that I can save the login password in kwallet. Created attachment 72325 [details]
successful login screenshot using konqueror git
I have build yesterday from git the apps: qt, qtwebkit, kdelibs, kdepimlibs, kde-runtime, kde-workspace, kde-baseapps, kdesdk, kdeutils, kdegraphics, kactivities, and kwebkitpart and this bug continues existing. When i enter the username, password and then hit enter it appears a message saying: Thank you for logging in, simple. Click here if your browser does not automatically redirect you. but then im not logged in. In firefox i can login without any problem. I get the same thing, but I am successfully redirected to the page I posted on the screen shot I attached previously. Hence, I do not know what to tell you. Like I said the only problem I see is the offer to save the login password not being offered, but there is a known bug that prevents that for certain sites as described in bug# 287689. > In firefox i can login without any problem. I do not doubt you have this problem. The only thing I am saying is that I am unable to reproduce it here. I was finally able to reproduce this bug. It only happens when caching is enabled. If caching is disabled, the issue goes away and you are successfully logged in. The only issue then is why would it work with khtml ? They both share the same infrastructure and as such you should be able to reporduce the problem using khtml as well. KDEWebkit got deprecated/removed. |
