Description m.wege 2012-06-30 23:56:19 UTC
I frequently surf in wireless hotspots which require a login. These hotspots redirect any webtraffic to there start page. When I connect to such a hotspot while akregator is restoring tabs, all these tabs are redirected to the hotspot page. On next reboot/restart of akregator the browser history of these tabs is lost, which means they all load the hotspot page and there is no way to reload the original tab. It would be could if there was a way to prevent this loosing of the tabs since I always keep many open to read or work with them later.

Reproducible: Always

This bug has only been reported for versions before 4.14, which have been unsupported for at least two years now. Can anyone tell if this bug still present?

If noone confirms this bug for a Framework-based version of akregator (version 5.0 or later, as part of KDE Applications 15.08 or later), it gets closed in about three months.

Just as announced in my last comment, I close this bug. If you encounter it again in a recent version (at least 5.0 aka 15.08), please open a new one unless it already exists. Thank you for all your input.
