I clicked on check for updates and muon crashed, this has happened to me twice now

The crash can be reproduced some of the time.

This is a bug with APT usually caused by a corrupt package cache. As a workaround you can try running sudo rm /var/cache/apt/*.bin

thanx that worked, I did have to logout and back in but muon is working fine now.
