I configured kmail for a few different IMAP accounts. After a few days incoming emails bodies were displayed empty. A quick look at my webmail account showed that the e-mails were indeed empty (and I'm sure they had content when they were sent).
After I've stopped akonadi incoming mails were unharmed again. Exiting kmail alone did not make a difference.

So far this behavior only shows on one E-Mail account (provided by GMX). I'm unsure whether I can reproduce this. The risk of losing important information this way is just too big.

Any suggestions how I can debug this without losing mails?

Reproducible: Didn't try

BTW: I started off with a clean akonadi configuration.
