The KCrash Handler report that problem is i KDE KIO slave. there is no digiKam source code relevant. It sound like a binary compatibility broken with KDELibs. Try to update to last 2.6.0 and try again Gilles Caulier first time adding collection from network drive - crashed at 95%. network drive holds 150000 pictures. New digiKam 4.11.0 is available : https://www.digikam.org/node/740 Can you reproduce the problem with this release ? Gilles caulier digiKam 4.12.0 is out : https://www.digikam.org/node/741 We need a fresh feedback using this release please... Thanks in advance. With 5.0.0, the crash is not reproducible anymore.
