Description Tony Clifton 2012-06-17 13:30:53 UTC
I have a folder of .wav files that I would like to use to create an audio cd playable in most CD players. I tried to add these files to my project but was met with an error message that says (in part)" Unable to handle the following files due to an unsupported format:
You may manually convert these audio files to wave using another application supporting the audio format and then add the wave files to the K3b project. "

These audio file are already in wave format.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. open K3B
2. creat a new audio project
3. add wave files to the prjoect
4. fail
Actual Results:
there are no actual results

Expected Results:
I expected an audio CD

When I create a new audio project and add a list of .mp3 files I get a similar "you must manually convert to wave ...." message. If I use K3b to convert the MP3 into 'wav files the disc will burn.
However if the file format is already in wave format the programme ddoesn't proceed. I can't even add the files to the project
