I have the same issue with an crashing KDE on shutdown. What should we do about this? Is it an upstream problem? I havent experienced any more crashes while logging off after updating to the latest and greatest Kubuntu. Joost, did the update include an update of Qt libraries to version 4.8.4? I haven't experienced any crashes on logout for months, so this seems fixed. If somebody still experiences crashes, please reopen. Hi, I am not facing any crash but the system is not logging off. When I log-in I am having a standard KDE panel and menu along with the plasma active desktop running on top. When I log-off the menu and panel are disappearing but the plasma active desktop is still running and not letting me log out. Only way is to restart. |
