- What I was doing when the application crashed:

I have all my music mounted from another machine via NFS. The IP address of the other machine had changed following a reboot, so my collection was empty and I was using browsing files to find the music I wanted. I went inot hte wrong folder and clicked on the > to change folders, Amarok crashed.

Thank you for your report. This is a known issue, although your backtrace doesn't show the function call from amarok but only the Qt and KDE functions. Might be a problem higher up in the stack.

Can I install any other packages to get a better trace if it happens again...?

Don't worry, the quality of your backtrace is good, but we need to find out if this is a Qt or a KDE issue actually. That is feedback we need from other developers.
