DOM Range instances in KHTML do not have comparison constants START_TO_START, START_TO_END, END_TO_START and END_TO_END as required by the DOM4 Range spec. These constants are supported by KHTML as properties of the Range constructor, however.

The situation in DOM Level 2 is slightly confusing: the IDL definition in the main Range spec (http://www.w3.org/TR/DOM-Level-2-Traversal-Range/ranges.html#Level-2-Range-Interface) requires the constants to be present as properties of Range instances while the ECMAScript bindings page omits them (http://www.w3.org/TR/DOM-Level-2-Traversal-Range/ecma-script-binding.html#Range-ECMA). However, DOM4 is explicit and all other major browsers implement comparison constants as properties of Range instances, so KHTML should too.

I thought KHTML was abandoned. Anyway, I just tried it in the latest Konqueror, created a range and it had the constants, so I guess this issue is resolved.
