Does not seem to be a KGet crash to me, but rather an oxygen one... Lukas crash is actually in Qt. And I cannot reproduce here (kget starts just fine) using Qt4.8.1 Would you install debug packages for oxygen (usually kde-workspace) and Qt, then provide a more detailed backtrace ?
