Sentry Crash Report:

Description Luis Silva 2012-06-11 19:49:03 UTC
Setting myself as online trigers a message claiming that my pasword is invalid. The only way to work around this is to remove and recreate the account.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Create a facebook account
2. go online.
=> Everything is fine.
3. reboot
4. go online.
=> Incorrect password.
Actual Results:
A dialog shows up complaining that the pasword is wrong.
Retyping the pasword does not solve the problem.

Expected Results:
All account details should be remembered accross reboots.

As I said, removing the account and starting fresh works around this problem but is annoying.

Do you still have this issue?
Could you check your password in KWallet? Is it correct?
Comment 2 Luis Silva 2012-06-25 21:37:40 UTC
The issue is still hapenning with the latest master and kde4.9 beta2.
The password is in kwallet and is correct.

Thanks for the response.

I still need a bit more info, could you get the following output for me?

1) disable all accounts
2) killall ktp-auth-handler (it probably isn't running)
3) run "/usr/local/lib/kde4/libexec/ktp-auth-handler --debug --persist"
4) enable / connect Facebook
5) assuming behaviour is the same, send me the log from 3.

Before you do that.
run "kdebugdialog" make sure "ktp-auth-handler" has a tick next to it.

Sorry for the delay.
The issue is not reproducible with 0.5.2.
