First this appears in a Mandriva 2010, with KDE 4.3 (initial version). Now I found this behavior in an Arch linux with KDE 4.8.3.
If I take to the clipboard some string from RDP window or Virtual Box Windows application (and may be in a wine application, I'm not sure) klipper freezes for some MINUTES, has no reaction for mouse click and block clipboard operations.
Now it changed to Parcellite on a both systems.  

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Go to any windows system by any RDP client, for example - KRDC
2. Select any string from system log by ctrl-Insert
3. Wait for unfreeze.

I confirm the freeze with Virtualbox in KDE 4.11.1.
