After adding files and directories to my collection path I edit them via Amarok "Edit details" and then use "Organize files". Most of the times the collection gets unusable forever and I have to delete the whole mysql database, restart amarok and re-scan all my music path. This happens since years, Amarok 2 collection has never been stable, not like the collection in Amarok 1.

And which exact Organize files option do you choose? Sorry, but your bug report lacks quite some information. 

Also why didn't you report this earlier if it is a problem since such a long time? There have been various issues with the "Organize Files" feature throughout the 2.x life cycle, without further information this is quite impossible to act upon.
