Looks like that would be because we don't support cors, and this is using a cross-domain XMLHttpRequest to make the menu. Do you think that is a duplicate bug with this: https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=300879&list_id=168816 ? Dear Bug Submitter, This bug has been stagnant for a long time.
