Sorry, but your backtrace totally lacks debugging symbols. Please make sure you have all necessary debugging packages installed, mainly amarok-dbg, phonon-dbg and the phonon-backend-*-dbg depending on the backend you use. Created attachment 71535 [details]
Installed debugg packages
Myriam, i have/had all this installed, is there something other missing?
Where did you get that amarok-git version from? It sure is not an official package in Kubuntu 12.04, so that might be the problem. [KCrash Handler] #6 0x0000000200000000 in ?? () Shows that something is clearly missing . Created attachment 71633 [details]

amarok (2.5-GIT) on KDE Platform 4.8.3 (4.8.3) using Qt 4.8.1
- What I was doing when the application crashed:
Confirmed on latest git build. Strange reason for a crash though as I don't see the relation to Amarok.

Thank you for the crash reports. As it has been a while since this was reported, can you please test and confirm if this issue is still occurring or if this bug report can be marked as resolved. I have set the bug status to "needsinfo" pending your response, please change back to "reported" or "resolved/worksforme" when you respond, thank you. Since this was about a rather old KDE 4 version I think you can close this thread, as it is very unlikely anyone is still using this particular version. I don't remember having seen any crashes in later kdelibs versions. Both kdelibs and Amarok in the Qt4 versions are unmaintained, no need to ask for feedback if you want to close those bugs. |
