Just out of curiosity - why would you want such a feature? IMHO it doesn't matter which server is queried first. I second this suggestion. Indeed, the order in which accounts are presented in the "check mail" drop-down menu is according to creation history. As I have many (disconnected imap) accounts that I manually synchronize, it would be convenient to be able to find them in a long list according to a more logical order. Also, as the folder view is now sorted alphabetically, I must prefix the account names with a sort letter or number in order to see them with the appropriate grouping. This is less than ideal. Not sure what to suggest, other than some option under the account menu, as one wants to retain sorting of the folders under each account. Thanks Alan E-Mail accounts are checked in parallel currently. I'm wondering too: Why should I need this? On Friday 18 December 2009 11:45:56 Björn Ruberg wrote:

Because the Check Mail button can bring down a menu allowing one
to launch a mail update on a single, selected account.
The order of the menu listing should be configurable.
