It crash in Gphoto2 driver, but trace is uncomplete. Please install libgphoto2 debug backage and run digiKam through GDB to get a better backtrace : http://www.digikam.org/drupal/contrib Note : it's probably a Gphoto2 problem, not digiKam... digikam (2.6.0-rc) on KDE Platform 4.8.3 (4.8.3) using Qt 4.8.2
- What I was doing when the application crashed: KDE dialogue to open and import with Digikam. Get an immediate crash when opened to import.

item. I stop to gpcamera interface. This one bring gphoto driver. There is no debug symbol from you gphoto installation. Can you check with digiKam 2.6.0 final release published recently instead last release candidate ?
