Per default Dolphin shows the path of the directory in the view already. But do I understand correctly that you want to have this path in the tooltip instead and showing it in the view is not sufficient for you? Imho, path in tooltip can be handy when searching (e.g) for images/videos in icons+preview view mode. OK, I've changed this ticket then as "wishlist" item. Resetting assignee to default as per bug #305719 This is still an issue under KDE 4.11.1 in that when you search for a file or dir with Dolphin, it doesn't show you the location of the found items. To view that info (which is actually the main info the user needs from a find tool) you have to open the files property window or open the file in a new Dolphin tab or window to see the path.
