I cannot reproduce this in 4.8.3 and .4, although I could at some point in 4.7.4. It may have been fixed in 4.8.3. Could you check this? There has been quite some tinkering in powermanagement during the 4.8 series, so it is possible. Also, do you experience this only in plasma-netbook, or also in plasma-desktop? unfortunately i can reproduce it under 4.8.4 (debian 4.8.4-4 - wheezy). A quick workaround run dbus manually: qdbus org.kde.screensaver /ScreenSaver org.freedesktop.ScreenSaver.Lock or /usr/lib/kde4/libexec/kscreenlocker --forcelock I found an other solution: http://randomguy3.wordpress.com/2011/09/04/screen-locking-with-the-plasma-netbook-interface/ screen locking has been rewritten in 4.10. This renders this bug as unmaintained. |
