Upon starting Kontact we get the following message:

Kmail has encountered a fatal error and will terminate now.
The error was: Failed to fetch resource collection

Reproducible: Always




Upgraded openSUSE 11.4 to openSUSE 12.1, all latest updates. KDE version is 4.7.2 release 5.

Box is an Intel i5-2500K, 8 Gb RAM, Asus m'board, nVidia video

uypdate your kdepim version 4.7.2 is too old

Have to talk to the openSUSE developers on that one, this version, 4.7.2, is 
what one gets as part of openSUSE 12.1 latest upgrade/update.

I can't reproduce this with KDE 4.8.5 nor KDE 4.9, so this is most likely fixed since quite some time.
