Bug seems somehow linked to Bug 285677. But with different initiating action. Which phonon backend do you use? if you use the phonon-backend-vlc this is bug 296589 I confirm using phonon-backend-vlc. Is switching to the gstreamer backend a temporary solution? Which one is to prefer in general? If you need an Equalizer then the gstreamer backend is your choice. I for one am quite happy with the vlc backend, but I don't use direct sound output from the PC but go through an external amplifier so this bug is not relevant for me as I have my PC volume set to 100% anyway. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 296589 *** |
