When using the combined view, akregator occasionally refreshes the channel, which bumps the view up to the latest post, even if there is no new posts for the channel. This is very annoying when reading a channel with many unread posts.

A workaround could be to add an option to disable auto-refresh of the currently viewed channel and instead just refresh it when the channel is marked as read.

Thank you for the bug report. Unfortunately we were not able to get to it yet. Can we ask you to please check if this is still an issue with Akregator 6.6.2
