- What I was doing when the application crashed: Whenever I change the profile of the soundcard in a kde program called "phonon", it causes kmix to crash. I change it from digital output to analog and vice versa and that causes the crash. 

- Unusual behavior I noticed:

The crash can be reproduced every time.
