More infos... If it's a specific email please save as mbox and attach it please. I get that with all emails if it happens. Kmail also does not download emails from the last couple of days, when I freshly installed and configued Kontact completely. It's very, very frustrating. I get that with all emails if it happens. Kmail also does not download emails from the last couple of days, when I freshly installed and configued Kontact completely. It's very, very frustrating. I have just upgraded to Precise (12.04) and empty the wastebin of my emails Since then I notice that the problem seems to be worse I have don't a small try on a couple of emails As you can see: 1) it looks like we have two kinds of email : one population taking 3 to 5 seconds to appear 2) one other population lasting 10 to 25 seconds to appear It looks like HTML mails tends to take longer although I have some Plain text emails that also takes longer Right now I can't find a particular logic to this like a common subfolder or sender/receiver or date or anything. Main Folder (has a total of 16 emails) Plain Text 3 sec Plain Text 5 sec HTML mail 24 sec HTML mail 11 sec Subfolder 1 (has a total of 32 emails stored) Plain Text (lot of receivers )22 sec Plain Text 3 sec Plain Text 14 sec (only the signature of the first email I send to the sender was HTML) Subfolder 2 (has a total of 11 emails stored) Plain text email 18 sec Plain text email 11 sec Please put the bug on confirmed since we are at least two persons having apparently the same bug... |
