Ability to assign any shortcuts to selecting next or previews layer would be very helpful.

Sorry, I meant 'hotkeys', not 'shortcuts'.

It's the same thing :-). It shouldn't be difficult to add.

This implemented: pgup, pgdn now move through the layer list.

It is fine and very useful for me.
