Description Ovidiu D. Niţan 2012-04-21 08:48:26 UTC
Since I started using KDE again (starting with 4.6), I noticed that, sometimes, the ordering of my desktop icons is changed on login. This used to happens sometimes but, starting with 4.8.2 it seems that it's happening on every login. I'm using Folderview as my desktop's layout and I have 6 icons on it, in this order (from up to down): Dolphin, Clementine, UMPlayer, Thunderbird, Kopete, Chromium. Now, if I log-out and log in, the icons seems to be arranged in a random order.

Reproducible: Sometimes

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Set Folderview as your desktop layout
2. Put some icons (maybe this is happeing only if you arrange the icons starting with top-left corner to downside?)
3. Log out and then log in
Actual Results:
The ordering of icons is missed.

Expected Results:
The icons should stay in the order left at logout.
