- What I was doing when the application crashed:
Logging into KDE4 through NX causes kwin to constantly crash. Sometimes no activity is necessary (crashes upon login), at other times, dragging windows around causes it to crash.

I saw a bug report with a similar title being marked as a duplicate to kwin crashing as a result of running xrandr. However, I can't duplicate the behavior of that bug-report on my system. Kwin does not crash when xrandr is run no matter what arguments I give it. Hence, I believe this may not be a duplicate but a standalone bug report.

If not, then my apologies.

The crash can be reproduced every time.
